Pros and cons of gFlash+ — Fun, Free, Custom Flashcards app for iPhone and iPad
gFlash+ — Fun, Free, Custom Flashcards app good for
Very nice app but it should allow to import the texts format from google plan to flashcards.
Unless 3 basic formating styles like italic, bold and uderline and some colors.
These simple implements help to improve a lot the memorization process.
I love it. Its the best flashcards app I found. I find the study mode specially attractive for my students.
I found this App to be extremely helpful. Very good to avoid searching for and downloading separate applications for Korean, Japanese and French (which may not contain the vocabulary I need).
Also great for other topics next to languages!
In general very useful when memorizing things.
I absolutely recommend this!!
this does what it says it will and has worked really well so far.
Definitely saved me a few dollars already on buying cue-cards. I also love that I dont have to carry stacks around of cue-cards with me when they are right on my phone. Great for when Im waiting for the bus, have time to kill on the can or when Im taking breaks at work.
Definitely love the app so far and think its a great idea to build on. Some suggestions would be color-coding,
Better multiple choice through a card designed for multiple choice questions ie: definitions etc
All in all, great app!
LOVE the flashcards, and the app is easy to use. My issue is more with googledocs and the difficulty with getting pics into their spreadsheets to download to gflash+ and actually having them APPEAR there.
Meanwhile, even without pics, the quiz feature on my material was an great predictor of how well I did on my exams.
Im loading ALL of my subjects this term into gflash+. I dont know how I studied without it before.
Some bad moments
Don’t buy an app with crummy support! I forked out $3.99 to get the PRO version so I could download my private Quizlet decks. But having wasted far too much time, I’m giving up. The support blog is crap and there’s no email address where I can even address a concern. This should be outlawed!
Hi, Thank you for allowing me to upgrade to the pro version. Afterwards, I created a new database of 75 cards, I took a break to come back to all cards lost except for 1.
Pay for the upgrade and waste your time. WTF
I paid for this - with the latest update, it runs ads. I want my money back
I made a bunch of cards with sound audio and they worked while I was making them but then the next day they stopped working. Will change rating once resolved.
App installed smoothly and works well. I got this because it works with Google Docs. Downloads are simple and convenient. Several featured Id like:
- ability to edit cards as I review them (dont know how to do this)
- ability to upload edited cards to Google Docs
- ability to save out cards to new deck as I go through them (even if it was only the ones I missed)
I wrote a previous review only to see it disappear because of a duplicate nickname. Just wanted to give this app a thumbs up because of how easy it is to use. The simple UI really gets you straight to the studying part with no extra fuss. Other apps may have "games" but Im satisfied with the old school method.
